Amber Alert cancelled after child found safe

Winnipeg police have ended an Amber Alert for a child who has allegedly been abducted by their mother after they were found safe.
Police say the mother allegedly left a pre-arranged, supervised visit without legal authorization.
Shortly after the Amber Alert was issued, the mother turned herself into the RCMP in Amaranth, Manitoba and the child was found safe.
There was no immediate word on whether she will face any charges.
