Warrant issued for suspect in Oct. death of Mohamed Ahmed

WINNIPEG – Homicide detectives in Winnipeg have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant relating to a murder case from last year.
On Oct. 12, a dead man was discovered in the Red River near Churchhill Drive and Hay Street.
The victim was identified as Mohamed Ahmed.

Investigators are still probing the circumstances around Ahmed’s death, but have issued a warrant for Jesse James Daher, 28.
Daher is facing a second-degree murder charge.
