Manitoba is reporting 494 new COVID-19 cases and 10 new associated deaths, seven of which are linked to an outbreak at a Winnipeg care home where dozens of residents have died.
The province said in Sunday’s pandemic update that a woman in her 80s, two men in their 80s, two women in their 90s and two men in their 90s died between Nov. 3 and Nov. 14 in connection with the outbreak at the Maples Personal Care Home.

The news follows Saturday’s announcement from the government that 11 more people connected with the same deadly outbreak had also died during roughly the same period.
The private home is now the subject of a provincial investigation.
