Two men dead after falling through ice in Delta marsh

DELTA, Man. (CityNews) – The bodies of two men who were presumed dead have been pulled from a Delta marsh.
On Wednesday, RCMP received reports of two men attempting to enter a home in Delta.
The men had apparently told the homeowner that they were looking for the house of someone they knew.
RCMP say when they arrived on scene the men had left the house but were still believed to be in the area.
Mounties say while they looked for them men, they heard distress calls coming from a nearby marsh.
Police were able to track the pair to an ice-covered area, where something had broken through the ice.
Both men, one age 18 from Brandon, the other age 17 from Portage la Prairie, did not resurface.
