COVID-19 exposure on three transit routes

WINNIPEG – Transit commuters who may have taken routes 45, 55, or 75 at the beginning of the month are being warned of a potential COVID-19 exposure.
The infected person boarded bus route 75 at 8 a.m. on Oct. 5 at Lagimodière Boulevard and St. Anne’s Road. They got off at Kildonan Place Mall.
Later that evening, around 6:45 p.m. boarded the 45 bus at Panet Road and Reenders Avenue and rode it to Portage Ave. where they transferred to route 55 before disembarking at Worthington Ave. and St. Anne’s Road.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 you should get tested for the virus.
Winnipeg Transit is reminding anyone who may be sick not to take transit and visit a testing site sooner rather than later.
