WINNIPEG – Someone who’s recently tested positive for COVID-19 took a city bus last week and other Winnipeggers may have been exposed to the virus.
The infected person took route 14 on Tuesday, Sept. 15 between 11:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
They boarded the bus at Ellice Avenue and Spence Street and got off at a stop on St. Mary Avenue.
The driver of that bus has been notified and Winnipeg Transit says “follow-up measures are being taken”.
If you may have come into contact with this person, monitor yourself for symptoms and visit a testing site if you begin showing any.
If you’re sick, the city asks that you don’t take transit.
