Winnipeg Jets announce qualifier roster

WINNIPEG (CityNews) – The Winnipeg Jets have made their final cuts to their 2020 roster as the team heads to Edmonton for the NHL’s qualifier round.
The Jets 31-man roster is made up of four goaltenders, ten defenceman and 17 forwards.
The goaltenders that will represent the Jets are:

- #30 Laurent Brassoit
- #60 Mikhail Berdin
- And Vezina candidate, #37 Connor Hellebuyck
The defence for the Jets will be:

- #7 Dmitry Kulikov
- #8 Sami Niku
- #12 Dylan DeMelo
- #23 Carl Dahlstrom

And the forwards will be:

The Jets will meet the Vancouver Canucks and a pre-qualifier match on July 29th, before meeting Calgary on August 1st, as they look to extinguish the Flames and soar deep into the playoffs.
The Jets and Flames only meeting within the regular season was a hard hitter in the Regina Winter Classic which saw Bryan Little win it for the Jets in overtime.
