Most Canadians working at home during the pandemic seem to like it: poll

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Working from home during the pandemic is turning out to be a relatively positive experience for most Canadians, according to a new poll.
As of last week, half of employed Canadians report they are currently doing their job remotely.
Leger’s latest “Concerns About COVID-19” survey finds that number drops to 42 per cent in British Columbia, the lowest regional figure across the country. Ontario has the highest proportion of workers at home, at 58 per cent.

It is not always easy to work remotely, with 40-percent of those asked saying it has been somewhat or very hard but, regardless, a majority of Canadians seem to like doing it.
Close to eight-in-10 respondents (79%) describe the experience as at least somewhat positive.
Those reporting the most positive time working from home are Canadians aged 18-to-34 (88%), followed by those over the age of 55 (82%) and people with no children at home (81%).
