WINNIPEG (CityNews) – Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help to find a woman who has been missing since August.
Miranda Belle, 31, has not been seen since August 17th, 2019 in the Grant Park area of the city.
Investigators believe her disappearance is suspicious in nature and that she may have been the victim of foul play.
Police, along with members of Belle’s family, spoke to the media on Wednesday, pleading for any help to find her.
Members from the Winnipeg Police Missing Persons Unit, in collaboration with the Homicide Unit, lead the investigation.
Police have also identified a grey-coloured 2012 Dodge Caravan which may be associated with Bell’s disappearance.
Belle is described as 5’6” in height, weighs 100 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police are asking Winnipeg residents and business owners to check their properties for anything that may be out of place, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
