Canadian man murdered in Chile

CANADA (660 NEWS) — Global Affairs Canada has confirmed that a Canadian was murdered in Chile.

Few details have been released about the altercation a local news agency reports that it was a 57-year-old man.

Global Affairs said in an email to that they offer their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim.

Consular officials are in contact with local authorities to gather more information.
