63-year-old man dies after ‘medical event’ while driving: WPS

Winnipeg police say a man died Tuesday morning following a collision at the intersection of Rothesay Street and Gilmore Avenue.

It is believed the man suffered a medical event while he was driving, which resulted in the collision.

Police say following the collision, WFPS treated a 63-year-old man before taking him to a hospital in critical condition.

Police say after he was taken to the hospital, he was declared dead.

Two other people were involved in the collision, and police confirmed they were not injured.

WPS says no investigation is pending.
